On the road ... free as a bird !

In the home of Julien Absalon, world and Olympic champion, the mountain bike is king ! In Gérardmer and Xonrupt-Longemer, more than 300 km of marked tracks will enable you to have a great time. On a family outing or a more sporty trip, everyone rides at their own rhythm. And if you prefer cycling on the road, climbing the Vosges passes or riding round the lakes will give you the pleasure of taking the fresh air in magnificent natural surroundings.

Mountain bike round trips

  • The Gérardmer area has 8 marked round trips for all levels along 80 km
  • The Xonrupt area has on offer 9 round trips marked by the FFCT (French Cycling Club) along 185 km
  • The « Trace Vosgienne », a race which takes place at the end of July, is also a marked round trip of 42.5 km which follows the hill tops between Basse-sur-le-Rupt and Xonrupt-Longemer
  • The area making up the 3 sites groups together 200 km and 14 round trips
