The French Ski School (ESF)

All facilities are available at the foot of the ski slopes or in town to make your stay a pleasant one

With 50 years' experience and a present team of around 60 instructors, the French ski school provides fun skiing in all forms

At the Mauselaine, the ESF has on offer : Alpine skiing and surfing lessons, snow shoe walks, and for the disabled, the ESF has a special chair to enable skiing

In the Bas-Rupts cross country skiing area, the ESF can provide cross country skiing lessons as well as ski and snow shoe outings


The French ski school also enables you to take tests

  • Performance tests
  • The 'Flêche' (timed giant slalom )
  • The 'Challenge des Hivernants' (easy giant slalom open to all)
  • The 'Chamois' (special timed slalom)
  • Technical tests : the 'étoiles'
